Dorthe Mailil is a Danish designer and illustrator and the Creative Director behind Maileg (pronounced My’lye), a whimsical toy brand blending Scandinavian design with storybook charm. Founded in 1999 with her husband Erik, Maileg features bunnies, mice, and forest friends with hand-sewn clothing and playful accessories. Dorthe continues to lead all creative direction, bringing imagination, storytelling, and meticulous design to every piece.
