Hand dipped beeswax tapers are uplifting, energetic candles for all occasions. Ideal to light and relight over many short periods of time. Tapers are the most functional choice for traditional nightlight because this candle’s light has a wide spatial reach. Fits standard size candlesticks.
Using the traditional technique of hand dipping, this slow-made process involves repeatedly dipping cotton wicks into melted wax, gradually building up each candle, layer by layer. It may take as many as 30 dips to reach the desired width. Due to how the wax cures in layers between each dip, Hand Dipped Beeswax Tapers burn longer than hand poured ones. Tapers require a candlestick (sold separately) to burn in an upright position. To secure, gently melt the base by fire then hold in place until fixed.
