Based out of Florence Massachusetts, Justine and Grant Figura make up the dynamic man-and-wife duo that comprises Tandem Ceramics with their line of handmade pottery. Each with a BFA from Alfred University, Justine and Grant merge their respective crafts of printmaking and pottery, creating pieces that combine practical utility with nature-inspired beauty. Delighted by foraging, flower-arranging, and all things culinary, Justine designs food-specific shapes through trial and error. Grant — a self-described nature boy — crafts original block prints and drawings inspired by his outdoors adventures, and together they create forms and imagery that complement each other.
